Hi, I'm Divij Gupta.

I’m an Industrial Design student at SCAD with a minor in Sneaker Design, originally from India.

I’m especially interested in footwear and accessories, and how design can reflect the people, places, and cultures they come from.

OBSERVE

I look closely to understand people, behavior, and the world around me.

ASK WHY

I question everything to dig deeper and find the real problem.

SKETCH

I put ideas on paper to explore, communicate, and think visually.

PROTOTYPE

I build to give form to ideas and see how they work in the real world.

TEST

I test with users to learn, validate, and uncover new insights.

REFINE

I improve the details, solve the issues, and make it better.

REPEAT

I iterate continuously because great design is never truly finished.

Outside Design

Outside of studio, you'll find me deep in sneaker culture — tracking releases, drops, and the stories behind them or losing time to a good playlist, a film, or whatever's trending in internet culture that week.

These aren't just hobbies; they're where a lot of my design instincts come from. Streetwear and sneaker culture taught me how objects carry identity, and that shows up in how I approach every project, whether it's eyewear or footwear.

I'm also building toward launching my own brand someday — eyewear and footwear are both spaces I think about constantly, not just as a student but as someone who wants to build something of his own.
